Major Leonard Darwin, son of the famous naturalist, Charles Darwin, is to deliver a set of four lectures under the auspices of the Department of Economics on "Municipal Ownership and the Management of Public Works in Great Britain" during the week immediately following the spring recess.
Major Darwin is a well-known writer on subjects of Political Economy and has written books on Bimetallism and Municipal Trading. He has served as major with the Royal Engineers in England and has acted as lecturer in some of the military engineering schools there.
The lectures will be open to the public.
