Gifts of Casts and a Relief

The University has received from Mr. James Loeb, A.B. '88, a gift of forty-eight plaster casts from ancient marbles, bronzes, and terra cottas, made from the collection of the late Professor Furtwangler. These casts form a good working collection, and will be useful in connection with instruction in Fine Arts.

The University has also received, as a gift from Messrs. Edward W. Forbes '95, Richard Norton '92, and Alden Sampson '76, a Roman relief from Palmyra. These specimens will be placed in the Fogg Art Museum.
