At a meeting of the candidates for the University and Freshman hockey teams last night, after Coach Winsor had given the men a blackboard talk on the essentials of the game, Captain Willetts announced that, since several members of the University squad were to be in New York during the recess, the management had arranged three scrub games with the amateur clubs of the New York Hockey League, to be played on December 27, 28, and 29 in the St. Nicholas Rink. These games, however, are only scrub contests, and the team does not play as a University team.
