The seventh annual intercollegiate gymnastic meet will be held in the Princeton University gymnasium at Princeton this evening at 8 o'clock.
Entires have been made from seven of the eight universities which form the intercollegiate gymnastic association--Harvard, Yale, Pennsylvania, Princeton, Columbia, New York University and Haverford. The faculty of Rutgers College have forbidden any of its athletes to compete.
The chances seem to favor New York University which has won the meet for the past several years. Gold, silver and bronze medals will be given in the six regular events, and cups will be given to the winners of the first three places in the individual all-round championship.
Only four entries have been made by the University: Captain W. C. Bennett '08, G. S. Taylor '08, J. Tyng '08 and E. L. Souder '10.
The University entries are as follows:
Horizontal bar--E. L. Souder '10.
Parallel bars--G. S. Taylor '08.
Flying rings--G. S. Taylor '08 and E. L. Souder '10.
Side horse--E. L. Souder, '10.
Club swinging--W. C. Bennett '08.
All-round championship--J. Tyng '08.
