The University basketball team will play its second game with Wesleyan at Middletown this evening at 8 o'clock. The first game resulted in the defeat of the University team by the score of 31 to 6; but since then the team has been steadily improving and played its best game of the season against Yale last Friday.

Wesleyan opened the year with one of the strongest college teams in the country, defeating Pennsylvania and Columbia. Later the team was badly crippled, and was beaten by Dartmouth, Syracuse, and Brown. It is now tied with Williams for first place in the New England Intercollegiate League.

The University team will spend the night at Middle town; and leave on an early morning train for West Point, where they will be the guests of Lieutenant D. S. Crissy. They will play West Point tomorrow afternoon.

The teams will line up tonight as follows: HARVARD.  WESLEYAN. Currie, l.f.,  r.f., Clessen Allen, r.f.  l.f., Soule Wyman, c.  c., White Browne, l.g.  r.g., Hayward Brooks, r.g.  l.g., Grant
