Candidates for second-year honors are required to register their names at the Recorder's office today. These honors are open to all Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors in the College, and to Special students after the first year; they are open to Freshmen and to first-year Special students by special permission only. Candidates for second-year honors in the classics will designate at the same time which elective courses they intend to offer in order to make up the number required.
Today is the last day for receiving theses for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the divisions of Ancient Languages, Modern Languages, and History and Political Science. All theses should be handed to the chairmen of the committees of the respective divisions under which they are offered.
All dissertations for the Bowdoin Prizes should be handed in today at University 20.
