The preliminary round of the Leiter Cup baseball series has been completed with the exception of the game between the Hush-buttons and the Merry Widowers scheduled for this afternoon at 3 o'clock on the new diamond. Yesterday the Mughunters defeated College House, 9 to 1, and Stoughton defeated the Scrubs, 15 to 5.
The following schedule has been arranged for next week, and will be adhered to as closely as possible: Monday, on new diamond, Holyoke House vs. Chicklets; on second diamond, Bush Leaguers vs. Lucky Strikes; Tuesday, on new diamond, Stoughton vs. Prickly Heats; on second diamond, Probation A. C. vs. Mugwumps; on Freshman diamond, Cercle Francais vs. Butterfingers; Wednesday, on new diamond, Benders vs. Follies of 1911; on second diamond, Mug Hunters vs. winners of Hush-buttons-Merry Widowers game; on Freshman diamond, Hammer-throwers vs. Squads. It is expected to complete the second round also next week. Games will begin promptly at 4 o'clock.
