One-third of the Athletic Committee for next year has been chosen and we now await the result of the stated meeting of the Overseers on Commencement Day when the recommendations of the Corporation for the three Faculty members and the three graduates will be presented and final action will be taken by the Overseers.
It seems Incongruous with the feeling of establishment and continuity that exists in the University at large and particularly in the present administration with such telling results, that the overseeing body of the undergraduate's sport should be in danger of complete renovation. We say "in danger of" advisedly, for it is the earnest hope of the CRIMSON that this renovation will not take place this year and that the Corporation will see fit to continue Dean Briggs and Dean Huribut as members of the Committee, as well as the three graduate members, unless there is some urgent reason for their withdrawal. They took up their new work with the keenest interest and enthusiasm, and it would be a pity to lose them now from one of the most important of all the Faculty committees.
