The trial matches for the University tennis team played yesterday on Jarvis Field resulted as follows: R. H. Eggleston '09 defeated F. A. B. Washburn '09, 6-2, 6-2, and defeated E. M. Ach '11, 6-1, 6-4; R. M. Gardiner '09 defeated H. Peters '10, 11-9, 6-4; A. Sweetser '11 defeated G. C. Adams '10, 7-5, 6-1; G. G. Browne '10 defeated J. D. Foot '10, 6-4, 8-6; H. Nickerson '11 defeated E. L. Beard '10, 7-9, 6-4, 7-5; E. L. Beard '10 defeated W. K. Earle '10, 6-3, 6-1.

The following matches have been arranged for today: R. H. Eggleston '09 vs. E. L. Beard '10, R. M. Gardiner '09 vs. G. G. Browne '10, winner to play H. Nickerson '10, H. S. Appleton '10 vs. G. C. Adams '10. All matches must be played at 2.30 o'clock on Jarvis Field unless otherwise arranged. Scores must be left in the CRIMSON Office before 7 o'clock.
