FRESHMAN TRACK VICTORY

The Freshmen are giving promise of great athletic ability for the support of the University teams in the next few years. Last fall against the Yale freshmen they scored the first football victory of many seasons, and now they are to be congratulated for an excellent showing on the track last Saturday. The resemblance between the University and Freshman teams is quite remarkable. They are both strong on the track and weak in the field events, and in a great number of cases the points in the various events were decided the same way in the two recent contests with Yale.
