Tennis Team Won from Princeton

Yesterday afternoon the University tennis team easily defeated Princeton at Princeton by winning six out of nine matches played; five out of seven in the singles, and two out of three in the doubles. Actually Princeton only won one match, Raleigh defeating Cutting in the singles, but as E. L. Beard '10 returned to Cambridge after the matches were postponed on Saturday through a misunderstanding, Princeton won two matches by default, one in the singles and one in the doubles. during the play there was a high wing blowing. The scores were as follows:

Singles--N. W. Niles, (H.) defeated Gordon (P.), 6-3, 6-2; A. Sweetser (H.) defeated Thomas (P.), 6-2, 4-6, 6-4; G. C. Adams (H.) defeated Gerlach (P.), 6-3, 6-4; Raleigh (P.) defeated F. Cutting (H.), 9-7, 6-4; F. H. Burr (H.) defeated Rowe (P.), 6-0, 6-0.

Doubles--N. W. Niles and A. Sweetser (H.) defeated Thomas and Rowe (P.), 6-2, 6-1; F. H. Burr and G. C. Adams (H.) defeated Gordon and Gerlach (P.), 7-5, 6-3.
