The class of 1908, being the last class to graduate under Dr. Eliot as President of the University, has presented him with a mahogany desk as a token of their regard. It bears a plate with the following inscription: "Charles William Eliot with the affectionate regard of the Class of 1908." The desk occupies a position in Dr. Eliot's study and is now being used by him.
