HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
The University chess team will play its annual match with Yale in Dwight Hall, New Haven, tonight at 7 o'clock. The team, which wins more than half of the ten games to be played, will win the match. There will be a time limit compelling at least twenty moves during the first hour, and fifteen during the second hour.
As a result of the fall tournament, the following men have been chosen to represent the University: F. P. Byerly '11, R. B. Cooke 1G., C. S. Hadley 2L., W. B. Harris '13, A. G. Johnson '11, A. S. Jones 2L., D. Rines 2G., T. R. Schoonmaker '12, S. Seiniger '13, T. Thorwaldson 2G. Since 1903, when a draw match was played, the University team has won every contest.
