President Lowell yesterday attended the inauguration of Edmund. Clark Sanford as president of Clark College, Worcester, returning to Cambridge late in the afternoon. The official ceremonies of installation were held at 10.30 o'clock in the morning. In the afternoon President Sanford and the college faculty received the visiting, delegates and the students.

President Sanford came to Clark College in 1889 as an instructor in psychology. Three years later he was made assistant professor and in 1900 full professor of the same subject. Since 1895 he has been a joint editor of the American Journal of Psychology.
