SECOND JUNIOR APPLICATIONS

To be Given to Dormitory Committee by 1.--Improvements in Thayer.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Corporation has decided to recognize the north and middle entries of Thayer Hall as Senior dormitories next year. Therefore all who at present occupy rooms there and are not Juniors, will be given a preference in the choice of rooms in the other College dormitories. Toilet accommodations will be provided on the third floor in each of the Senior entries. Wherever steam heat is desired, it will be installed for the usual consideration of $20. The additional charge of $24 for supplying steam through the year to a double room, brings the total extra cost of this convenience to but $22 per man.

Applications for rooms in the north and middle entries of Thayer will be received by the 1911 dormitory committee at Phillips Brooks House until 1 o'clock today. The maximum application will be for a whole floor. In the north entry a floor comprises six rooms; and in the middle entry four rooms. These applications will be made out as before, with the signatures inside and a fictitious name and the preferences on the outside--except that the preferences in each case shall be for specific rooms. It is desirable to have the preferences as numerous as possible. All Juniors at present living in the north and middle entries, who intend to retain their rooms, are requested to notify the committee of their intention before 1 o'clock.
