Crew Race in Basin at 4.30 o'clock

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

If the water is sufficiently smooth, there will be a two-mile race in the Basin this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock between the University, the second, and the Freshman crews.

Owing to the uncertainty as to eligibility for the Cornell race, Nelson was out of the Freshman boat at practice yesterday, and as a consequence, there were a number of changes made in the order. Meyer was moved to 3 and Parker, Warren, and Morgan were all tried out at bow; of these three Warren made the best showing. Today Meyer will go back to bow and Parmenter will be put in at 3. The Freshmen will row in the following order this afternoon: stroke, Goodale; 7, Moffat; 6, Stratton; 5, Keays; 4, Lincoln; 3, Parmenter; 2, Cutler; bow, Meyer; cox., Abeles.
