The first University Tea of the year will be held in the Parlor of Phillips Brooks House this afternoon between 4 and 6 o'clock. These Teas will be held weekly during December, January and February to provide an opportunity for the members of the University to meet informally and to bring them into closer relations with the officers of the University and their families. All members of the University and particularly first year men are cordially invited to attend.

As in former years, the management of the Teas is under the direction of a standing committee composed of certain officers of the University and their wives, who will receive at each Tea. A number of men from the undergraduate classes and from the Graduate Schools will act as ushers. The committee has planned, whenever possible, to have some distinguished visitor to the University present at the Teas.
