HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
The first regular weekly meeting of the Christian Association will be held this evening at 7 o'clock in the Shopard Room of Phillips Brooks House. Professor E. C. Moore will speak. The meetings and speakers for each Wednesday evening up to the Christmas recess have been arranged as follows: October 7, Professor E. C. Moore; October 14, Rev. H. Roswell Bates, of New York; October 21, Mr. W. G. Thayer, headmaster of St. Mark's School; October 28, Rev. Percy S. Grant '83, of New York, November 4, Mr. A. F. Stearns, headmaster of Phillips Andover Academy; November 11, Mr. H. Ferguson, headmaster of St. Paul's School; November 18, Mr. W. B. Olmsted, headmaster of Pomfret School; December 2, Rev. J. G. K. McClure, president of McCormic Theological School, Chicago; December 9, Dean W. W. Fenn '84; December 16, Rev. J. H. Denison, of the Central Congregational Church.
