Very Small Number Have Reported to Coach Quinn For Field Events.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The number of men who have reported to Coach Quinn for the fall work in the field events is very small and a larger number of men from the Freshman class, particularly, is desired. The fall work, while necessarily shorter than that of the colleges farther south, is absolutely essential for a successful spring season. All men who desire to participate in the Freshman track meet on October 16 should report at once, as there is but little more than two weeks remaining in which to train. The handicap games follow a week later.

Coach Quinn will be on the field every afternoon between 2 and 5.30 o'clock. Pole-vaulters and high-jumpers should report between 2 and 3; broad-jumpers and hurdlers between 3 and 4, and shot-putters and hammer-throwers between 4 and 5.
