"La Double Belle-Mere" to be Presented in Copley Hall Tomorrow Evening.

The Cercle Francais will give the first performance of its annual dramatic production in Jordan Hall this evening at 8.15 o'clock. Three one-act plays, "L'Echeance" by Meilhac and Delavigne, "Les Absents," by Alphonse Daudet, and "Permettez Madame," by Labiche and Delacour, will be presented. Tickets at $1.50 and $1 may be obtained at Herricks, at Schoenof's bookstore, 128 A Tremont street, Boston, at the Jordan Hall box office or from J. Weare 2G.B., Dunster 23.

"L'Echeance" is the story of an irritable Russian count who has an advantage over his rival for the hand of Mme. de Ternay, but yields finally in a typical French manner.

"Les Absents" depicts the disorder into which a well-regulated household is thrown by the arrival of a beloved nephew who has long been absent.

The last comedy, "Permettez Madame." tells of the obstacles thrown in the way of two lovers, who, hindered by the obstinancy of their guardians, finally succeed in arranging their wedding.
