At the business meeting of the Phi Beta Kappa Society held yesterday morning the following officers were elected for the ensuing year: president, Hon. Francis Joseph Swayze '79; vice-president, Dean Briggs; secretary, W. C. Lane '81; treasurer, R. H. Dana '01. The following were also elected to honorary membership: Ambassador Jusserand, LL.D. '07, who delivered the Phi Beta Kappa Day oration in Sanders Theatre yesterday morning, J. J. Chapman '84. Dr. Reginald Fitz '06, D. G. Field '07, and Professor Eugene Wambaugh '76.
