1912 FOOTBALL SCHEDULES

Games University and Freshman Teams Will Play This Fall.--Sale of Season Tickets.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University schedule for the coming season which is printed below shows two changes from that of last year. The University of Maine has taken the place of Bates in the first game of the season, and Vanderbilt, the strongest team that the South can produce, has been substituted for Carlisle. This is the first time that Vanderbilt has been on Harvard's schedule, though she has played Yale, last fall putting up a grand game against the New Haven eleven, which ended in a scoreless tie. Five hard games close the season, those with Brown, Princeton, Vanderbilt, Dartmouth, and Yale, and the team must of necessity go through a long and hard training to prepare for them.

The schedule follows. Games unless otherwise noted will be played on Soldiers Field.

Sept. 28.--University of Maine.

Oct. 5.--Holy Cross.

Oct. 12.--Williams.

Oct. 19.--Amherst.

Oct. 26.--Brown.

Nov. 2.--Princeton.

Nov. 9.--Vanderbilt.
