William Gilles '02 died after a short illness at his home in Gary, Indiana. While in College GiNes took a prominent part in athletics and organized the first basketball team to represent the University. He graduated from the Law School in 1905 and then worked with a Pittsburgh firm for three years, later going to Gary, Indiana.
