For the benefit of the new members of the University who have not yet familiarized themselves with the use of the College Library, the following information is printed. New students who wish to take out books should register by presenting a Bursar's card at the desk in Randall Hall. Students who have registered may take out three books at a time, which may be kept for a month, unless marked as seven or fourteen day books. Randall Hall is open week-days from 9 A. M. to 5.30 P. M., but is closed on certain holidays. The reading rooms in Massachusetts Hall contain many general reference books and a large number of volumes reserved for students in different courses. They are open week-days in term-time from 8.45 A. M. to 10 P. M. (except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day) and on Sundays from 1 to 10 P. M. The library of the Department of History, in Harvard Hall, is open week-days from 8.30 A. M. to 5 P. M., except on Saturdays, when it closes at 1 P. M
