In their tenth annual football game played on Soldiers Field yesterday morning the First Corps Cadets avenged their defeats of previous years by winning from Battery A, 12 to 0. This is the first time they have been able to defeat the Battery, although they have tied them three times.

Snow scored both touchdowns for the Cadets in the first half, one in each period. The first score came about five minutes after the opening of the period. On the first play the Cadets brought the ball to the 10-yard line on a beautifully executed forward pass, Snow to Adams. Snow scored a touchdown on the next play but failed to kick the goal. Throughout the remainder of the period both teams used the forward pass almost entirely. Neither team, however, succeeding in making consistent gains.

The second period opened with the ball in the Battery's possession, but they were soon forced to kick. Kean recovering. Three more attempts to gain through the line failed, and Minot punted again to the Cadet's 15-yard line, Hadley running the ball back to midfield. The battery braced, and Snow was soon forced to kick. But the Battery was unable to keep the ball, losing it on a fumble in the first formation. Snow pushed over the second touchdown soon after, but fouled on the kickout, thus losing the try for goal.

In the second half both teams returned to the forward passing game, but as the passes were inaccurate, and fumbles and penalties frequent, neither team was able to secure any advantage or to score.
