NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Smith won the championship in the last game of the Freshman interdormitory association football series, played on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon. Smith and Standish fought to a tie, the score at the end of the game, after an extra 15-minute period, being 0 to 0.

The main feature of the contest was the strong resistance put up by the inexperienced Standish eleven, which was composed in the main of new men, playing together for the first time in the game with Gore on Wednesday. The Smith eleven was made up almost entirely of men who played on the regular Freshman team.

The standing of the three teams follows:   Games  Won  Tied  Lost  Points Smith,  2  1  1  0  3 Gore,  2  1  0  1  2 Stand.,  2  0  1  1  1
