The University association football team will play Columbia in the last game on its intercollegiate championship schedule on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 3 o'clock.

The championship of the league has already been won beyond question by Pennsylvania, and the game this afternoon will resolve itself into a fight for second place in the league standing. Unless the University can win or tie, Columbia will secure second place and the University will tie with Cornell for third, with a possibility of Yale's winning its remaining game and making a triple tie.

Despite the poor condition of the field, the game this afternoon should be a close one. The Columbia and the University teams seem very evenly matched for Columbia has so far won two, tied one, and lost two of its five games, while the University team has won two, tied two, and lost one, of its five.

Besides the game with Columbia this afternoon, two other games remain to be played in the series. Pennsylvania plays Haverford at Philadelphia this afternoon, and Yale will play Haverford at Haverford next Saturday. The line-up for today's game follows: HARVARD.  COLUMBIA. Nichols, g.  g., Buermeyer J. M. Jennings, l.f.b.  r.f.b., Romeo Withington, r.f.b.  l.f.b., H.
