TEN TEAMS ON ICE AT ARENA

The first practice on ice for the University hockey squad was held in the Arena yesterday afternoon from 3 to 6 o'clock. Ten full teams reported and were given a thorough drill in passing and shooting under the direction of Coaches Winsor and Huntington. Teams A and B, and teams C and D played practice games, but no scoring was done by any team. The ice was in very poor condition with many cracks and soft places, but it will undoubtedly be improved after a second freezing.

Practice will be held regularly from now on until the vacation.
