Close Call for Crimson Nine

The CRIMSON nine, heretofore considered peerless among the infra-baseball and ultra-spitball circles of the University, almost met the personification of retributive justice in the extra-inning Phi Beta Kappa team yesterday. It was not until the eighth inning that ex-President Brown pattered across the platter with the winning tally, and the game closed with the score 18 to 17. This afternoon the Knights of the Key meet the Monthly-Advocate litterateurs at 3.30 o'clock.
