SNAPPIER SHOOTING BY SEVEN

STICK-WORK NOT SO GOOD IN BRISK WORK-OUT WITH B. A. A. TEAM.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Following drill in passing and shooting the University hockey team had a brisk 20-minute scrimmage with the B. A. A. seven at the Arena yesterday afternoon which resulted in a 2 to 1 defeat. But the University seven showed unusually good team-work and their shooting was the best thus far this season. The stick-work, however, was not all that might be desired.

Hicks on a pass from Hutchinson scored the first goal for the B. A. A. and a few moments later Hutchinson caged the puck himself. Later Curtis on a pass from Phillips scored for the University. Then the second-string men were put in for 10 minutes, and succeeded in defeating the B. A. A. 1 to 0, Baldwin scoring on a pass from behind Chadwick's goal by Baker. The substitute B. A. A. line with the substitute University defense then faced the regular B. A. A. for 10 minutes more.

The University will probably have but two more hard work-outs before the game with Princeton in New York on Saturday. Princeton had no practice at all yesterday but work will be resumed for them today.

The University and B. A. A. lined up as follows yesterday:   UNIVERSITY.  B. A. A. Cunningham, Curtis, l.w.  r.w., Hornblower, Smart Townsend, l.c.  r.c., Hutchinson Phillips, r.c.  l.c., Hicks, Osgood Wanamaker, r.w.  l.w., Hopkins Claflin, c.p.  c.p., Huntington Morgan, p.  p., Robbins Wylde, Harte, g.  g., Chadwick
