SECONDS LOST TO 1918 AT ARENA

Freshmen, With Better Stick-Work, Won Hard Scrimmage, 3 to 0.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The second hockey team and the 1918 seven had a hard-fought 35-minute scrimmage at the Arena yesterday afternoon in which the Freshmen showed their superiority by winning 3 to 0. The Freshmen had excellent stick-work and their shooting was superior to that of the second team, but they showed little in the way of organized team-play. Both Whitmarsh and Gwathmey played excellently at goal and the work of Morgan and Percy was particularly noticeable in the Freshman line. Percy scored one of the goals and Condon the other two, the last being on a long shot after play had been stopped when Whitmarsh was not prepared.

The teams lined up as follows: FRESHMEN.  SECOND TEAM. Morgan, l.w.  r.w., E. M. Townsend Condon, l.c.  r.c., Trainer Pratt, r.c.  l.c., D. W. Paterson Percy, r.w.  l.w., Coolidge Thacher, c.p.  c.p., Appleton Taylor, p.  p., Cook Gwathmey, g.  g., Whitmarsh
