Attention is called to the fact that the competitions for the following prizes will close on April 1, the Bowdoin Prizes, ranging from $250 to $50 and including a bronze medal, for dissertations in English, Greek and Latin; the Francis Boott Prize of $100, for the best composition in concerted vocal music; the Lloyd McKim Garrison Prize of $100 and a silver medal, for the best poem on the subject of Belgium; the Menorah Society Prize of $100, for an essay on a subject connected with the work and achievements of the Jewish people; the George Arthur Knight Prize of $30 for the best composition in instrumental music.
