Mr. de Andria to Lecture on French Music on Tuesday Evening.

The first meeting of the Cercle Francais since the recent election of officers will be held in the clubroom, Grays 17, on Tuesday evening at 7.30 o'clock.

The speaker of the evening, Mr. Alcide T. M. de Andria, who has made the history of music his special study for many years, will explain the development of French music from the songs of the Middle Ages to the Marseillaine, and will sing a group of old songs of Old France. Mr. de Andria is a native of Smyrna, of French and Italian parents. He has studied at Namur and the Conservatory of Brussels. He will be assisted at the piano by Mr. George B. Weston of the French department.

As its guests for this occasion, the Cercle Francais has invited the members of the University Musical Clubs.
