At its meeting on Monday afternoon the Board of Overseers approved the proposed scheme by which students in the Boston University School of Theology will be admitted to courses in the Harvard Divinity School and in the Graduate School. The arrangement, which will be tried for two years, provides that graduate students and Seniors in the Boston University School of Theology who have attained an average grade of 85 per cent. may register in the Harvard Divinity School and take without charge a maximum of two Harvard courses as part of their year's work in the Boston University School of Theology. This arrangement, while differing in its details from the affiliation of Andover Theological Seminary with Harvard, and from the affiliation arranged last year with the Episcopal Theological School by which students in that school are admitted to Harvard, is nevertheless another step in the general policy of closer co-operation between the several schools of theology located in Cambridge and Boston.
