DRESS REHEARSAL OF SIEGFRIED HELD TONIGHT

Admission Only by Special Passes.--Many Artists Have Arrived in Boston.

A dress rehearsal of "Siegfried," which will be held in the Stadium this evening, will end the preliminary preparations for tomorrow's production of Wagner's opera. Admission this evening will be by special pass only.

A large squad of men worked on the stage yesterday and last night, getting everything in order and trying out scenic and lighting effects. This work will continue this morning. Several of the artists are now in Boston, and the rest will arrive today. The Metropolitan Opera House's huge orchestra is also due today.

The regular performance will begin tomorrow at 7.30 o'clock. In case of rain, it will take place on the next fine evening.

All ushers will report at the Marshall Newell Gate and no man more than ten minutes late will be admitted. In case of rain the same men will be retained for Saturday.
