NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A production of Mendelssohn's Elijah will be given at the Bravos Field, Boston, on Sunday, May--28, at 3 o'clock. The production is under the management of S. Kronberg, who was general manager of the performance of Wagner's "Siegfried," given in the Stadium last spring.

An orchestra of 165 players will be under the direction of Mr. Walter Damrosch, and a chorus of 1200 voices is being selected and rehearsed by Mr. George Dunham. The cast is to be as follows: Elijah,  Mr. Clarence Whitehill The Widow,  Mme. Frieda Hempel Obadiah,  Mr. Johannes Sembach The Angel,  Mme. Schumann-Heink The Youth,  Mme. Marie Sundelius The Queen,  Miss Elvira Leveronl

Profiting by his management of the Siegfried performance in the Stadium last year, Mr. Kronberg has arranged the stage, which will be built in four raised tiers, with a sounding board top, at a distance of only 90 feet from the centre of the grandstands, instead of 350 feet as it was in the Stadium. Only the grandstands will be used at this performance, the bleachers being eliminated entirely.

The price of seats to subscribers will be from $1.00 to $2.50; boxes, seating six, $20 to $25; single seats in boxes, $4.00 and $5.00. The subscription will be open until May 1. After May 1, the balance of seats unsubscribed for will be put on sale at the advance price of 50 cents extra on each seat. Subscriptions will be numbered and filed in order of their receipt, and allotments will be made accordingly. Orders and checks should be made out to S. Kronberg, 177 Tremont street, Boston, care of Eastern Talking Co.
