In the first game of the season yesterday afternoon, the second team won a decisive victory over Dean Academy by the score of 20-0. Ryan's playing was the feature of the game. He was directly responsible for all three touchdowns, blocking two kicks and recovering a fumble.

There was no score in the first period, but Dean's goal line was crossed in each of the other three. Johnson made two of the touchdowns after the ball had been twice rushed to the oponnents' goal line by straight plunging, and Ellison scored the other by a quarterback run around left end.
