TODAY'S GAMES

This afternoon, at Soldiers Field, the University eleven plays Brown. This afternoon, in New Haven, our Freshman team encounters the Yale freshman eleven. Each of Harvard's two teams has suffered but one defeat and it is to be hoped that each one will finish the season auspiciously--that the simile between the two elevens will continue to hold true.

In Cambridge, the substitutes will figure largely; nevertheless, the game will be a test of our ability to win on the following Saturday; for it is only by the aid of such men that victory can be gained.

With regard to the Freshmen: "the child is father to the man" and it is never too early to start a good habit. From this team and its successors come the players on whose merit future Harvard elevens must stand or fall.

The success of our teams now rests on the knees of the gods--but it was Coach Haughton and the Harvard system that put it there.
