A New Series of lectures at the Lowell Institute to be given by Professor Paul Shorey '78, LLD., Litt D., professor of Greek in the University of Chicago, will begin next Tuesday. The Platonic philosophy will be the general subject of discussion. The full schedule follows:
Tuesday, February 8--Plato and the Spirit of the Age--Political and Social ideas.
Friday, February 11--Plato and the Philosophy of Flux, from Heroditus to Bergson.
Tuesday, February 15-- The Platonic Tradition in Theology and Mysticism.
Friday, February 18--Plato and Poetry.
Wednesday, February 23--Plato and Education.
Friday, February 25--Plato and the English Literature of the Nineteenth Century.
All these lectures will be open to the public without charge, but tickets must be obtained from the Curator of the Lowell Institute, 491 Boylston street Boston.
