Historical Books Now at Widener

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The library of the Cambridge Historical Society has lately been deposited in the College Library, and is now available for use. This collection of books, a small one as yet, is composed mainly of exchanges with other historical societies.

Mr. R. H. Dana '74, for many years president of the Cambridge Historical Society, on behalf of the society, has presented the Library with two portraits by Copley. These portraits of Henry Vassall and his wife, prominent citizens of Cambridge before the Revolutionary War, will be hung in the treasure room of the Library.
