Costumes for the great annual Senior festivity, the picnic, will be put on sale at $1.75 each in Thayer Common Room today between 12 and 1 o'clock and also between 5 and 6 o'clock. The sale will continue tomorrow, the hours being 12 to 2 and 5 to 7 o'clock. This paltry $1.75 will cover, not only the official Senior uniform, but also the entire cost of the trip, including transportation, lunch, band, and refreshments, which will be served both on route and at the picnic itself. The costume will consist of a miner's cap with 1916 beautifully engraved on it, white overalls, bathing trunks, and the proverbial tin cup. A can of jet-black waterproof paint will also be provided so that Seniors can mark themselves for purposes of identification. No men without uniforms will be allowed on the picnic.

Promptly at 6 o'clock Friday morning at trumpeter will arouse the drowsy Seniors. At 6.30 the band will start the grand march around the Yard, headed by the special prize 1916 goat. Half an hour later six special cars, bearing refreshments and the band, will start the Seniors on their journey of mystery.

Arrived at its destination staid 1916 will indulge in baseball games, a greased pig contest, a lively 100-pound porker having been specially donated for the occasion, and various other forms of amusement. The return trip will start at 4.30.
