HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
The finals of the Pasteur Debate will be held in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building tonight at 8 o'clock. The subject is "Resolved, That the policy of the French in Morocco during the present century has made due allowance for the rights of other European nations." Each speaker will be allowed fifteen minutes, and may speak on either side of the question. The debate is open to the public.
Mr. E. L. Raiche, of the French Department, will preside. The judges are Assistant Professor R. H. Lord '06, Dr. S. E. Morison '12 of the History Department, and Dr. R. L. Hawkins '03, of the French Department.
The order of speakers, as determined by lot, is as follows: L. Dennis '19, E. R. Roberts '16, W. M. Silverman '18, L. Brentano '18, A. G. Aldis '17, W. Hettle man '19, and J. S. Taylor '18.
