YALE EXPECTS LARGE REUNIONS

Usual Festivities Will Accompany Class Week in New Haven.

Preliminary returns from the various classes indicate that a larger number of Yale graduates than ever before will return to the reunions held this year. The present estimated returning totals over 1,600 men. A busy week with the usual festivities is being planned.

The parade of reunion classes to the baseball field and the jollification before the stands on next Tuesday in the annual game with the University will be conducted in essentially the same manner as in previous years. After the class dinners Tuesday evening the Campus will be closed to all except Yale graduates and undergraduates, and while no formal program of events is being planned for the evening, each class will enjoy itself in its own way in the enclosed space. There will be provided some fireworks and possibly an exhibition on an opening screen of motion pictures of scenes from Yale undergraduate life.

Reunion costumes will be worn by the younger alumni on Monday and Tuesday, but these costumes will all be discarded Tuesday evening. On Wednesday the exercises will be of a formal character. The program of events for the graduates in New Haven will end with the alumni luncheon in the Yale Dining Hall Wednesday noon and the President's Reception in Memorial Hall Wednesday afternoon.
