The first of the series of eight concerts to be given by the Boston Symphony Orchestra in Cambridge, will be held Thursday night at 8 o'clock in Sanders Theatre. The soloist will be a pianist, Miss Guiomar Novaes, and Dr. Karl Muck will conduct as in former years. The program follows: Tickets for the series of concerts are on sale at C. H. Kent's University book store in the Square at $7 apiece. Single admission tickets cost $1. The remaining seven concerts will come on the following dates: November 15, December 13, January 17, February 21, March 21, April 4, April 25.
