WILL COLLECT OLD CLOTHES WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY

Plan to Give Garments to Red Cross For Distribution in Occupied Belgium.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The spring clothing collection conducted by Phillips Brooks House will take place next week as part of a nation-wide movement under the auspices of the American Red Cross. Through this organization garments received from the University will be turned over to the Commission of Relief in Belgian for distribution in the occupied territory of that country and France.

Only garments which are sufficiently strong and durable to warrant the cost of transportation are desired, though they need not, however, be in perfect repair. No articles containing rubber in any form should be handed in.

As usual, old text books will also be collected at the same time. These will not be sent overseas, but will be used as in former years for the Phillips Brooks House loan library and for distribution among various charities in this country.
