Lieutenant-Commander Charles B. Lundy, U. S. N., has been made superintendent of the Cadet School for Ensigns of the First Naval District to succeed Captain James P. Parker '96. He assumed his duties as commandant of the Ensign School yesterday and will have his headquarters in Wadsworth House for the remainder of the college year at least.
Commander Lundy was a member of the Michigan Naval Militia for 18 years, serving as an officer in the first battalion of that unit. He was commissioned an ensign in 1905 and received his present rank on March 7, 1914. When the United States entered the war last year he went to sea, where he has been ever since on active duty.
