The revival of the Dramatic Club this evening nearly completes the circle of what may be called the "hobby clubs." In 1916 there were thirty-four of them, most of which went to pieces during the strain of the next two years: the Dramatic Club did not break up, but its activities were suspended.
The competitions of the club furnish opportunity for a wide range of talent--by no means exclusively histrionic--and will offer attractions to future Inces and Grifflths, as well as our incipient Hampdens. The Dramatic Club has every reason to expect a showing of talent which will produce performances of the usual high standard.
