COSTIGAN, DUGGAN, GOODWIN, AND O'CONNELL REPRESENT UNIVERSITY.

Members of the University will compete in four events at the Service Meet under the auspices of the First Naval District at the East Armory, East Newton street, Boston, this evening. The University relay team composed of H. D. Costigan '20, D. J. Duggan '20, W. H. Goodwin '20, and D. F. O'Connell '21 will also race against the Boston Athletic Association. Coach Ryder of the B. A. A. has not announced the make-up of his team, but it is understood that he has good material at his disposal. Each man will run four laps or 704 yards, which is the nearest approach to the regulation 780-yard distance that the large East Armory track will allow.

In addition to a long list of relay races, there will be several open handicap and service events. The following are the University entries:

H. C. Flower '19, captain of the 1919 Freshman team, who has been entered in the 60-yard dash will not compete as he has had less than a week's practice. The feature of the evening will be the "Curley 1000," a scratch invitation event.

The meet will begin promptly at 7.30 o'clock with the trials for the service 60-yard dash, followed by the open 60-yard dash. The University relay race is the next to the last event on the program.
