NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

First trials for the University debating team will be held tomorrow night at 7 o'clock in Harvard 6. The contestants will speak for five minutes on either side of the question, "Resolved: That the United States should establish a Federal monopoly of all oceanic shipping (coastwise and foreign) under the American flag." Judge A. P. Stone '91 and Coach H. Epstein '15 will act as judges.

Second trials will be held on Thursday evening at the same time and place. Contestants will be expected to speak for ten minutes on either side of the same subject. Final trials at which a team of six men and three alternates will be chosen, will be announced Thursday evening.

The University has the right of selecting the question for the triangular debate this year, and will announce the subject on April 11. The debate itself will take place on the evening of May 2.
