64 1-4 TO 52 3-4 DEFEAT FOR TRACK TEAM AT YALE

Yale triumphed over the University track team, scoring 64 1-4 points to 52 3-4, at New Haven Saturday afternoon under the most unfavorable track conditions of mud and rain. Although the University scored the greater number of first places, winning six places outright and sharing in two ties, Yale's second and third winners outscored those of the University.

The most sensational performers of the meet were Captain W. Moore '19, winner of the 100 and 220 yard dashes; D. F. O'Connell '21, winner of the mile and half-mile events; C. G. Krogness '21, scoring in four events; and Stewart of Yale winner of the quarter-mile.

Moore, in the 100-yard dash and 220 Yard dash showed fast time, despite the slow track and adverse weather conditions, making 10 1-5 seconds in the century event and 22 3-5 seconds in the 220 yard dash. After winning a magnificent race in the mile, O'Connell entered the half-mile and by a brilliant burst of speed out-sprinted Prizer of Yale in the last twenty yards.
